The Union of Grain Exporters and Producers in Russia predicts a potential harvest of 130 million tons in 2025, with 85 million tons being wheat. They estimate that between 35 to 40 million tons of this grain could be exported in 2025, with wheat making up a large portion of this. A quota for corn exports from the Far East is likely. By July 1, 2025, around 15 million tons of grain could be exported in the first half of the year, with the possibility of an additional 30 million tons in the second half. The MENA region is a key importer of Russian grain, with strong positions in the Egyptian and Algerian markets, and growing cooperation with Tunisia and Morocco.
