This year, Kazakhstan's Food Corporation increased the volume of forward purchases of oilseed crops from agricultural producers as part of implementing state policy on crop area diversification. To date, contracts have been signed with farmers for the supply of 36,000 tons of sunflower, oilseed flax, and rapeseed on prepayment terms, which is twice the volume of 2024. As noted in the press service, last year the national company successfully implemented a pilot project on forward financing of sunflower and sunflower oil purchases, aimed at supporting agricultural producers and processors.
