In the first eight months of the current marketing season, Ukraine exported 494 thousand tons of sugar, with the majority, 90%, going to non-EU countries. Turkey was the largest importer, accounting for 16% of the exports, followed by Libya with 11%, while EU countries received 10%. In 2025, Ukraine's sugar exports were reported to be 196.6 thousand tons, according to the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrtsukor).
