According to forecasts by analysts of the agrarian market of Ukraine, the sowing areas for soybeans in Ukraine in 2026 may decrease, and under the pessimistic scenario, they may amount to about 600,000 hectares. This forecast was voiced by market analyst Oleksiy Tartakovsky, writes APK-Inform. He noted that in previous years, Ukraine steadily produced 5.5 to 6 million tons of soybeans, of which about 3 million tons went for export, and another 3 million tons were for domestic needs. In the current season, exporting more than 2 million tons will be quite difficult, even though traders are still managing to find opportunities for shipment. As of October 29, the price of soybeans at the border without customs duty is $390, so perhaps the export will go faster. However, a redistribution of the market is expected, and at least 0.5 million tons will additionally be directed to domestic processing.
