According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to July 2025 (7 months of 2025), 70.8 thousand tons of corn were imported into Uzbekistan from 17 foreign countries, amounting to 20.9 million dollars. This is reported by Agrosektor.kz.
According to the statistics, the import of corn into Uzbekistan increased by 1.7 million dollars compared to the same period last year.
As noted, the majority of the corn imported into Uzbekistan during this period is of Kazakhstani origin: the RK exported 42.3 thousand tons of this crop. Next: the Kyrgyz Republic - 24.2 thousand tons; Turkey - 1.9 thousand tons; China - 1.5 thousand tons; other countries - 786.4 tons.
