In Alaşehir district of Manisa, the table olive harvest and purchases for the year 2025 have begun. Despite the low yield this year, the quality of the olives and the satisfactory prices have brought joy to the producers. It has been noted that the recent effective rainfalls have positively impacted the quality of the olives, prompting producers to accelerate maintenance work in their orchards before the harvest. The olive producers stated, "The yield is low but the quality is high, and the prices meet our expectations." In Alaşehir, the large-caliber olives, referred to as "duble," are finding buyers at 125 TL. At the purchasing centers, olives are classified by size using 6-hole machines, and their prices vary according to their number. Number 1 duble olives are sold at 125 TL, number 2 at 105 TL, number 3 at 85 TL, number 4 at 65 TL, number 5 at 50 TL, and number 6 at 20 TL.
