To address this gap, the relationship between this disease and yield was studied on two rapeseed hybrids, 45H31 and CS2000, on two infected field plots near St. Albert, Alberta, in 2020 and 2021. "In 2020, a year with above-average precipitation, both hybrids developed moderate disease levels, while in 2021, a drought year, infection symptoms and signs were milder. Regression analysis showed that seed yield per plant decreased with increasing Verticillium stripe severity in both years of the study.
