Farmers in Cherkasy region have harvested sugar beet from over half of the areas. This was reported on November 4 by the press service of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration. In total, 2.59 million tons of grains and legumes have been harvested from an area of 438.6 thousand hectares (67.9%) with an average yield of 5.9 tons per hectare.
