A total of 90 tons of feed plant seeds, worth 1 million 178 liras, have been distributed to producers in Gümüşhane, Turkey, as part of the Crop Production Improvement and Meadow-Pasture Improvement and Management Projects. The seeds include clover, sainfoin, vetch, silage corn, fodder peas, and oat, and are expected to produce 20 thousand tons of fodder plants on 14 thousand decares, generating an income of 10 million lira. The distribution was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Special Provincial Administration, with the aim to include idle lands in agricultural production and support farmers during the pandemic.
