In Jindo County, the "Hanwoo Tasting Event" at the Bobae Island Chrysanthemum Festival was a great success.

Jindo County (Mayor Kim Heesoo) announced that on the 27th, they held a "Korean Pork Consumption Promotion Tasting Event" at the opening ceremony of the "2025 Bo Bae Island Chrysanthemum Festival" together with the Jindo branch of the Korean Pork Producers Association. The event provided 800 servings of dishes made from Korean pork, such as "pork bulgogi tortilla," "sweet potato galbi burger," and "sausage stir-fry," to visitors, receiving great response. Tourists and local residents enjoyed the deep flavor of Korean pork and strolled through the chrysanthemum garden, fully savoring the autumn. Officials from Jindo Livestock and related parties said, "It was a meaningful occasion where locals and tourists gathered together to experience the excellence of Korean pork," and "In the future, we will continue to promote Korean pork consumption and increase the income of local farmers."
