According to information from Astrakhanstat, from September 12 to October 6 in the Kalmyk retail market, average prices decreased for head cabbage (by 2.3%, to 36.08 RUB/kg), beets (by 2.1%, to 44.92 RUB/kg), canned vegetables for baby food (by 2.0%, to 708.24 RUB/kg), onions (by 1.5%, to 44.47 RUB/kg), potatoes (by 0.8%, to 40.45 RUB/kg), and apples (by 0.3%, to 113.23 RUB/kg). Carrots could be purchased on average at 39.84 RUB/kg, cucumbers at 119.91 RUB/kg, and tomatoes at 121.09 RUB/kg, while fruit and berry canned food for baby food cost 522.83 RUB/kg. Among meat and meat products, there was a slight decrease in the price of canned meat for baby food (by 0.1%, to 1,060.28 RUB/kg) over the week.
