The agricultural census in Kazakhstan was conducted from August 1 as part of the tenth World Program of Agricultural Censuses of the UN's FAO and covered approximately 1.6 million households and 300 thousand agricultural entities across the country. This was reported by the press service of the National Statistics Bureau of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As noted by the bureau, the preliminary processing and analysis of the census results will be completed in the coming months. The final data will be processed and visualized on special analytical tools and published on the Bureau's website next year.
"It is important to note that only the main stage related to data collection has been completed. Ahead of us lies meticulous work on processing, verification, and aggregation of data at various levels," said the head of the National Statistics Bureau, Maxat Turlubay.
According to him, the census questionnaire included questions regarding land use, availability of agricultural machinery, crop areas, use of fertilizers, animal husbandry, employment, and others.
