By the end of 2025, the gross output of livestock farming in Kazakhstan increased by 3.3% and amounted to 3.8 trillion tenge (in 2024 it was 3.3 trillion tenge). According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the cattle population reached 8.2 million heads, increasing by 2.4%. The number of sheep and goats amounted to 20.6 million heads (+1.6%), horses - 4.6 million heads (+5.6%), camels - 294 thousand heads (+4.8%), poultry - 48.6 million heads (+6.9%). The production volume of meat of all types increased by 2.7% and amounted to 1.2 million tons (in 2024 it was 1,168.6 thousand tons). The production of cow's milk increased by 5% - from 3.6 to 3.8 million tons. The production of chicken eggs increased by 2.4% and reached 4.6 billion pieces (in 2024 it was 4,461.5 billion pieces).
