A Turkish investment has been approved for the construction of a flour mill in the Abinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, with operations expected to begin in the next year. The mill, to be established by Turkish Petek Un, is aimed at expanding the grain export potential of the region and shifting the focus towards the deep processing of grain. The mill is projected to process 311 thousand tons of grain annually, producing forty types of wheat flour, as well as rye and corn flour. The majority of the production will be exported, with the mill expected to reach full capacity by spring 2023.
