Mersin Metropolitan Municipality provided seed support for the 'Leklek Bean', which is grown only in the Şeyhömer District of Gülnar, as part of its efforts to protect local seeds and ensure the sustainability of production across the city. Under the 'In-Situ Conservation and Marketing of Local Seeds' project, a total of 150 kilograms of 'Leklek Bean' seeds were distributed to 15 producers.
