In Moldova, the rise in prices for everbearing raspberries has not started yet

In Moldova, the season of sales of remontant raspberry varieties is gradually gaining momentum. EastFruit monitoring shows that this process is usually accompanied by a rather sharp and often long-term increase in prices for this berry (compared to the price level for raspberries in the second half of summer). However, at the beginning of the last decade of July this year, this trend is still weakly expressed. In fact, the average price for fresh raspberries in the wholesale markets of Chisinau at the end of last week, after a slight decrease, has so far only returned to its previous level - about 30 lei / kg ($ 1.7 / kg). Berry market operators believe that raspberries will most likely rise in price in the domestic fresh market by the end of summer. But it is unlikely that the dynamics of price growth will be high, comparable to that in August-September of the previous three years.
