Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports have seen a significant increase, reaching nearly 5.7 billion USD in the first 9 months, a 34% rise from the previous year. China remains the largest market, with over 3 billion USD in import turnover, followed by the US, South Korea, and Thailand. However, competition is growing, especially in the Chinese market as the country also develops these agricultural products. To remain competitive, Vietnamese enterprises are urged to focus on product quality, diversify export markets, and comply with regulations. Additionally, investing in advanced freezing technology for durian and improving product quality can enhance their global market competitiveness.
