In October, Russia's export of soybeans and soybean oil to China significantly decreased compared to the previous year. The export of soybeans fell to $21.9 million, a decrease of two times, and the export of soybean oil fell to $7.1 million, a decrease of almost four times. Over the first ten months, Russia's soybean exports to China also decreased more than twofold to $284.4 million. However, Rosstat predicts an increase in the soybean harvest in Russia in 2023, reaching 6.8 million tons compared to 6 million tons in 2022, with the cultivation area increasing by 18.4% to 4.294 million hectares.
