In October of this year, South Korea exported noodles worth nearly $5.1 million to Russia. The monthly export volume increased by 39.8%, and the annual increase was 40.4%, reaching the highest monthly export volume since April 2004.
Russia mainly purchased South Korean instant noodles, with purchases worth $5.03 million in October. Additionally, Moscow also bought rice noodles worth $61,000.
As of October, Russia ranked seventh among South Korea's noodle buyers, with the top five being China ($37.6 million), the United States ($23.3 million), Japan ($8.02 million), the Philippines ($6.4 million), and the United Kingdom ($6 million).
Furthermore, in October of this year, Moscow purchased frozen dumplings worth $141,000 from Seoul, which was 1.5 times higher than the previous month and 14% higher than the same period last year. For the first ten months of this year, the supply decreased by one-third, reaching $106,000.
