According to the Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture, in the Odesa region, during the third decade of November, abnormally warm weather was observed. In Odesa city, the maximum air temperature was +16-17 ºС, and the minimum was +5-6 ºС. The average daily air temperature was +12.3 ºС, which was 8.2 ºС higher than the norm for the third decade of November. This is stated in the Analytical Reference of the NAAS of Ukraine. It is noted that, at the same time, frosts of up to -2-3 ºС were observed in some areas of the region. There was no precipitation in most of the region, only wet snow of 1-3 mm fell in some areas in the northern districts. In total, 23.1-53 mm of precipitation fell in November, or 59-135% of the monthly norm. Thanks to this amount of precipitation, the moisture reserves in the arable soil layer were replenished, which is very important for seed germination, seedling emergence, and the initial growth of winter crops.
