In the Omsk region, there are plans to introduce an emergency regime in crop farming across the entire territory of the region. This was announced by Governor Vitaly Khotsenko on his Telegram channel. The issue of introducing the emergency regime was discussed at a special meeting. The basis for this decision was the early onset of cold weather in the region, which negatively affected the sowing and the course of the sowing campaign. The head of the region explained that due to such weather conditions, 420 thousand hectares of crops were left under the snow. He also clarified that previously, due to waterlogged soil and early snow, the emergency regime was introduced in 16 districts of the region, and now it remains only in three.
