In order to increase the production of domestic and national fodder plants in Malatya, the planting of native plants was started as a trial. Within the framework of the Demonstration Studies of Domestic and National Seeds, Ayşehanım and Mehmetbey Triticale varieties, which were bred by the Kahramanmaraş Eastern Mediterranean Transition Zone Agricultural Research Institute, were planted in the Karapınar District of the Hekimhan District of Malatya. Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director Tahir Macit made a statement about Ayşehanım and Mehmetbey Triticale varieties cultivated in the district.
