In the province, which has 3,500 registered beekeepers, approximately 10 thousand families make a living from this sector. Wandering beekeepers from Ordu who produce honey by traveling to various regions of Turkey made approximately 18 thousand tons of production in 2025. Having spent the year 2025 fruitfully, the beekeepers began preparations for spring maintenance following snowfall and cold weather.
