The first result of its testing in commercial conditions was the detection of the ivashi sardine. In Russia, an innovative system for predicting the commercial fishing environment using mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has been developed. It was created by researchers from the Fisheries Monitoring and Communication System Center (CMSC) under the Russian Federal Agency for Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo) in cooperation with Russian scientific and IT organizations, the agency reported. The first result of testing the system in commercial conditions was the detection of the ivashi sardine, which this year has left the traditional fishing region for fishermen. "The program analyzed possible areas of concentration of the ivashi sardine. Beyond the Russian economic zone, the fish were found, and the commercial fleet was directed there. We plan to use this system in the future, including for predicting the approaches of other types of aquatic bioresources. ...
