The production of cottage cheese and curd products in January-September of this year increased by 4.5 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 548,600 tons. Cottage cheese accounted for the majority of this production at more than 362,000 tons. The consumption of both cottage cheese and curd products increased by 5.2 percent in January-August of this year compared to the previous year, totaling 575,500 tons.
