Brazil: In September, in the São Paulo market, live chicken reached its best price in the last 22 months

Last September, according to CEPEA, live chicken sold in the State of São Paulo was traded for an average of R$5.44/kg, a value that represented an appreciation of 1.5% over the previous month and 10.3% over September 2023. This was also the best price in the last 22 months, equaling the value recorded in November 2022, but still falling short of that observed between April and October of that year. It should be noted, however, that the equality in value with November 2022 is only nominal.
