Over the past week, other vegetables and fruits also became cheaper: cabbage by 8.4%, bananas by 3.4%, potatoes by 2.9%. From May 27 to June 2 in the Kurgan Region, certain fruit and vegetable products significantly decreased in price. This follows from the weekly consumer price monitoring data conducted by Sverdlovskstat. Specifically, the cost of fresh tomatoes dropped by 9.1% (to 194.51 rubles/kg), white cabbage by 8.4% (to 68.27 rubles/kg), bananas by 3.4% (to 162.87 rubles/kg), potatoes by 2.9% (to 84.95 rubles/kg), and vegetable preserves for baby food by 0.9% (to 792.19 rubles/kg). The average price of onions in the region was 60.67 rubles/kg, carrots 69.94 rubles/kg, fresh cucumbers 119.31 rubles/kg, apples 165.47 rubles/kg, and fruit and berry preserves for baby food 529.34 rubles/kg.
