In Tatarstan, plans are underway to create their own national breed of geese. This was reported by "Tatarstan 24" with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic. The project will be implemented on the territory of the agricultural cooperative "Agro Leader" in the Muslyumovsky district. Its initiator is the owner of the farm, Irek Khamadishin, known in the republic as the "goose magnate." He earned this nickname for his large flock and significant contribution to the development of goose farming in the region. Currently, his farm houses around 12,000 geese, and he has become the author of a recognizable food brand in the republic, dried goose. Khamadishin has been preparing for the project for several years. During this time, he acquired 90 hectares of land for the future breeding center.
