Over the past year, sheep meat production in the European Union decreased to 398 thousand tons, which is six percent or 26 thousand tons less than in 2022. IMIT reports this, citing data from the British Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB). In particular, half of this decline occurred in Spain, where final production amounted to 106 thousand tons. In France, it decreased by 6.5 thousand tons or to 73,000.
