According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry, as of August 25, sugar beets in the Krasnodar Krai have been harvested from 51.5 thousand hectares. This constitutes 22% of the planned area.
The gross harvest of the crop reached 1,527.6 thousand tons. This is 4.1% more compared to last year's figure.
The leaders in gross harvest are Vyselkovsky (219.8 thousand tons), Timashevsky (138.8 thousand tons), Tikhoretsky (124.8 thousand tons), Novopokrovsky (107.6 thousand tons), and Novokubansk (105.7 thousand tons) districts.
The average yield of the crop in the region is 296.8 centners per hectare. The highest yield was recorded in Kalininsky (480.0 centners per hectare), Mostovsky (468.0 centners per hectare), Korenovsky (463 centners per hectare), Novokubansk (436.0 centners per hectare), and Krasnoarmeysky (430.4 centners per hectare) districts.
Sugar beet harvesting in the fields of the region is carried out by 162 sugar beet harvesters.
In 2025, domestic breeding seeds were sown on 15% of the area allocated for beets in the Krasnodar Krai.
