According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry, as of November 10, sugar beet harvesting in the Krasnodar Krai has been completed on an area of 226.1 thousand hectares, or 96% of the planned volume. In total, the region's farms plan to harvest sugar beets from 235.8 thousand hectares. The gross yield of the crop in the region to date is 6,335.4 million tons, with an average yield of 280.3 centners per hectare. The largest contribution to the harvest was made by agricultural producers in the following municipal districts: Gulkevichsky with a gross yield of 508.3 thousand tons, Vyselkovsky — 452.3 thousand tons, Timashevsky — 433.4 thousand tons, Novokubansk — 381.1 thousand tons, and Bryukhovetsky — 365.2 thousand tons.
