According to Rosstat, in January–July of the current year, meat processing enterprises in the Kursk region increased the production of sausage products, including for children's nutrition, by 8.9% compared to the previous year's level, reaching 11.3 thousand tons. Meat, meat-containing chilled and frozen semi-finished products amounted to 133.1 thousand tons. The production of boiled, chilled, or cooled pork amounted to 123.0 thousand tons. The volume of production of boiled, chilled, or cooled cattle meat (beef and veal) reached 1.8 thousand tons (+16.3% compared to the previous year's figure). In addition, in the first seven months of 2025, the production of chocolate and sugar confectionery in the region amounted to 20.2 thousand tons.
