Ukraine: In the Lviv region, the area under onions, cabbage, and carrots increased

Among vegetable crops, Lviv region farmers increased the area under onion, cabbage and carrot the most, the area under which increased from 2 to 9%. The department of agro-industrial development of the Lviv regional government informs about this. It is clarified that the area under vegetables increased from 2 to 9%, in particular: onions - by 8.9% (sowing area 4.4 thousand ha), cabbage by 2.6% (15.0 thousand ha), carrots by 1.9% (4.6 thousand ha). Salad and green vegetables occupy 35.0%, of which the area of tomatoes increased by 2.3%, pumpkins by 8.2%, capsicum by 8.4%, green peas by 6.4%.
