In November, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Orenburg region intercepted attempts to export over 112 tons of grain to Kazakhstan with invalid phytosanitary certificates and prevented the import of contaminated tomatoes carrying the Tomato brown rugose fruit virus from Kazakhstan. The grain exports were halted due to violations of federal law and EAEU requirements, and the perpetrators were administratively responsible. Since the beginning of the year, several illegal grain exports and imports have been stopped due to similar issues.
