According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, by October 17, agricultural organizations have harvested grain and leguminous crops from an area of 29.5 thousand hectares (against a plan of 34.1 thousand hectares). The gross grain harvest amounted to 99.1 thousand tons with a yield of 33.7 centners per hectare. Potatoes harvested totaled 4.8 thousand tons from an area of 0.2 thousand hectares (the planned volume was 0.5 thousand hectares), with a yield of 239 centners per hectare. Vegetables harvested totaled 0.4 thousand tons, with a yield of 98 centners per hectare, work was carried out on 0.04 thousand hectares (total sowings are 0.5 thousand hectares).
