By October 17, the potato harvest in the region amounted to 128.1 thousand tons, and melon crops to 5.1 thousand tons. Agricultural producers in Stavropol are harvesting open-field vegetables, melon crops, and potatoes. According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, by October 17, open-field vegetables in the region have been harvested from an area of 2.5 thousand hectares, which is 69% of the planned value. With an average yield of 200 centners per hectare, 49.5 thousand tons of vegetables were obtained. Of these, 19.3 thousand tons of onions, 1.0 thousand tons of beets, 0.9 thousand tons of tomatoes, 1.1 thousand tons of carrots, 0.5 thousand tons of cabbage, 0.1 thousand tons of cucumbers, 0.8 thousand tons of vegetable peas, and 25.8 thousand tons of other crops.
