The need for businesses to actively use generators during power outages in November should not significantly affect the cost of products in Ukraine, but food prices will start to rise more noticeably in December ahead of the Christmas holidays. This was reported by Economic Discussion Club member Oleg Pendzin, as reported by UNIAN. "December is the period when Ukrainians traditionally prepare for Christmas. We have traditionally seen prices rise before the holidays. The main reason for the price increase in December will not be so much the cost of storage, but the increase in demand for food baskets before the holidays," the economist noted.
