In Ukraine, the number of ASF cases has been decreasing in recent years

Thanks to the persistent daily work of the specialists of the State Production and Consumer Service, who, despite the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, were able to carry out the entire complex of anti-epizootic measures on time and at the proper level, last year the epizootic well-being in the country was preserved. During 2022, the following was carried out: 42.4 million vaccinations of birds in households against Newcastle disease (the disease is not allowed); 2.0 million serological tests for brucellosis; 4.2 million vaccinations of domestic animals against rabies; 1.6 million examinations of cattle for leukemia (17 unfavorable points remain in Ukraine); 2.5 million vaccinations of farm animals against anthrax (one case of anthrax was detected in the Kyiv region); 6.5 million vaccinations of pigs against classical swine fever (the disease is not allowed); 2.2 million investigations for tuberculosis (the disease was not detected).
