Retail prices for most dairy products in Ukraine have seen an increase over the past month, with the exception of kefir, Maasdam and Suluguni cheeses, according to the Association of Milk Producers. This price hike is attributed to the rise in raw milk prices and the limited supply of milk due to increased export activity. There has also been a surge in the profitability of producing exchange goods such as butter, cheese, and dry dairy products globally. Kantar agency reports a 2% rise in drinkable yogurt consumers in Ukraine. Meanwhile, data from Your Total Market agency indicates that drinking milk, yogurts, and kefir are the most popular dairy products among Ukrainians in 2023, accounting for 60.7% of the total market share.
