Starting February 3, Ukrainian farmers can apply for special budget subsidies for raising cows, goats, and sheep, as announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval. The subsidy will be available to those who did not receive it in 2024, and the state program has been extended to support farmers who cultivate up to 120 hectares of land or maintain up to 100 cows, 500 goats, and/or sheep. A new electronic portal, eLivestock, has been launched for registering breeding entities to simplify the process for farmers.
