The eighth Central Russian Grain Forum was held in Voronezh on July 4, 2024, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Government of the Voronezh Region. The conference focused on various aspects of the Russian grain industry, including quality assessment, breeding advancements, and market trends. Yuri Chistyakov stressed the importance of state grain quality monitoring and the examination of 51.5 million tons of wheat across 29 federal regions. Last year, over 1.4 million tons of malting barley were analyzed, with a notable increase in exports. The forum also highlighted the digitalization of agriculture in Russia, with Anton Karmazin discussing state control and traceability of grain from field to consumer through advanced information systems. The event attracted over 300 participants from various sectors related to agriculture and food processing.
