The Mines and Energy Commission of the Chamber of Deputies has approved a bill that creates a program to encourage the installation of photovoltaic systems by family farmers and those registered in the Cadastro Único for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico). According to the proposal, the following will be allocated to the Luz do Sol Program: The financial and operational management of the program will be the responsibility of ENBPar. The text allocates 2% of the revenue from fixed quota bets, known as bets, to the Luz do Sol Program. This percentage will be taken from the amount currently allocated to the Ministry of Tourism (which will receive 20.4% of the revenue). The proposal amends Law 13.756/18, which deals with the allocation of money collected by lotteries. Public, private, and development banks and other financial institutions, as well as public or private funds, may make specific lines available for financing the program.
