Incentives for long-distance fishing are being prepared for fishermen in Russia

The relevant agencies should work out mechanisms to compensate for the cost of fuel for fishing in foreign waters and to provide government support for krill production. The instructions were given by Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko. The plans to subsidize fuel costs for fishing in remote areas and state support for the construction of krill fishing vessels were previously announced by the head of the Federal Agency for Fishery Ilya Shestakov. The head of the department spoke about the preparation of the relevant government decrees at a meeting of the legal commission on the development of fisheries, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.
