Salmon growers in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey export their products, transferring them from inland farms to sea cages in the Black Sea. According to data from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association, Turkish salmon exports between January and June 2022 reached $123 million, a 32% increase compared to the same period last year. Turkish salmon was sold to 40 countries during this time, with the Russian Federation being the largest market followed by Germany and Belarus.
