Increasing competitiveness, the Ministry of Agriculture develops longan village in Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- In 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) through the Directorate General of Horticulture has a priority program for Horticultural Village Development. This program is one way to increase the competitiveness of horticultural products, which is the direction of horticultural development policies and is expected to be a solution to increase food production and fulfillment, as well as become a legacy of the Directorate General of Horticulture for Indonesian agriculture, in accordance with the direction of the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin spleen.
