Inflation in Bulgaria surrounds only these two food products

Food inflation here hit a 23-year record high, while pork and bean prices barely budged in 2022. This is evident from the conclusions in the annual bulletin of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Auctions for the past year. According to statistics, pork prices will remain stable in 2022. At the beginning of the year, the average price was BGN 9.53/kg. In the following months, it even slightly decreases and in April it reaches the level of BGN 9.20. This is followed by a period of price stabilization around the level of BGN 9.30.
