Under the motto "Genetic improvement and reproductive biotechnologies in sheep in the Andean region," the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), in collaboration with the National University of Central Peru (UNCP), is developing the First International Symposium on Sheep. The event aims to promote technologies that boost the productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability of the sheep sector in the Andean region. The activity was inaugurated by the executive president of INIA, Jorge Ganoza Roncal, who emphasized that the Symposium will foster constructive dialogue among breeders, professionals, researchers, and students on laying the foundations for a modern, efficient, and sustainable sheep farming.
