The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has chosen several farms in Inner Mongolia to be recognized as national-level livestock and poultry core breeding farms, solidifying the region's leading position in cattle and sheep breeding. The region has also established centers for the evaluation and measurement of meat production performance in an effort to improve technical proficiency and promote the sustainable development of the industry.
