This volume represents a growth of 208% compared to the same period of the previous year, reflecting the rise and consolidation of this fruit in international markets. According to market analyst Heber Chávez, Chile positioned itself as the main destination for Peruvian cherimoya, absorbing 88.5% of exports in this period. Spain occupied the second place with a participation of 8.7%, while the rest of the countries concentrated 2.8% of the shipments. In total, 17 Peruvian companies were responsible for the exports of cherimoya.
