This was stated by its Director General, Alberto Herranz, at the Chinese Embassy during his participation in the presentation of the CIIE (China International Import Expo 2026). The protocols, signed during Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's visit to China, open new commercial opportunities for the Spanish pork sector in its main export market. The first focuses on the export of processed pork products, while the second modifies the existing protocol for pork exports to China to include cooked products.
